Garsington Church of England Primary School caters for children aged 4 to 11 years old. As a church school, we are supported by the Oxford Diocese of Education. The Church of England's vision is for children from all faiths and beliefs to flourish. Garsington is part of the River Learning Trust (RLT) Academy. RLT supports and challenges our school to continue to strive towards excellence. https://riverlearningtrust.org/
We are located in Garsington village close to both Wheatley and Oxford. We have lovely grounds, including our MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), field, forest school area, as well as making full use of our local community which includes the recreation grounds and our local church, St Mary’s.
At Garsington, we aim high and encourage all children to have a growth mindset approach to what they can achieve. This is reflected in our performance at the end of Foundation stage, Key Stage 1 and, Key Stage 2. See our Data Headlines for 2024.
High expectations can also be seen through our children’s behaviour.
