Welcome to our School
Welcome to Garsington CE Primary School
Garsington CE Primary School is a Church of England one form entry Primary School for 4 to 11 year olds. We are located in Garsington village close to both Wheatley and Oxford. We aim to provide an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. Developing a growth mind-set is at the heart of everything that we do. We aim to inspire every child to have a life-long love of learning and to aspire to be the best that they can be.

If you missed our recent Open Mornings, our headteacher, Ms Zara d'Archambaud, would be happy to show you our school from the outside after the school day from 3.15pm. Please email email@example.com or call us on 01865 361263 to arrange an appointment.
Limited Spaces in Other Years
We currently have limited spaces in some years so it's worth getting in contact with us to check admissions and have a tour of the school. Please call us on 01865 361263 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Recent Ofsted Inspection
We are delighted that Ofsted have continued to judge our school as Good in our recent inspection in January 2020. You can read the inspection report here.
Our School Poem
Please read our wonderful school poem 'The Kite That Couldn't Fly' written by Juli Frances Taylor.
We are a school of Red Kite learners. The letters in Red Kite reflect our seven school values. Red Kite learners are:
R = Responsibility
E = Enthusiasm
D = Determination
K = Kindness
I = Independence
T = Teamwork
E = Enrichment
We are very proud of our last SIAMS (Church of England) Inspection. ‘Everyone speaks of the school as a place where children are cared for and where individuals are loved, nurtured and respected whatever their ability or faith. Respectful relationships between everyone in the school are apparent and behaviour is impeccable.’ SIAMS November 2015.
We look forward to welcoming you to our happy school.
