Computing
At Garsington, the National Curriculum content for Computing is taught by the class teacher using units from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
The childrens’ programming experience begins in KS1 by learning to control Beebots and using Scratch Jr. In KS2, children develop their skills with Scratch and LOGO. In year 5, children have the opportunity to use programmable microcontrollers known as Crumbles to control electrical circuits they have built.
Mrs Allan is the school Subject Lead for Computing. Please find our Computing policy here.
