Garsington Has Talent
GARSINGTON's
Last year on event saw the school hall filled with parents, governors, pupils and staff enjoying an afternoon of talented acts. After some hotly contested class heats, the finalists gathered on stage, beneath a glittering star cloth, to show off their various talents - singing, comedy, dance, magic and music!
Garsington Has Talent 2017
The judges were different but the challenge to pick the winners was just as hard! In 2017 the audience were treated to singing and dancing, a Year 6 teacher take off, solos on the guitar, piano, coronet and ukulele, a majorette, a comedian, some street dancing, a New Zealand Hacker and all of Year 1 singing 'Do Your Ears Hang Low'! The show stopping winners were our two Y4 girls singing Justin Timerberlake.
See here for a fabulous album of all the 2017 contestants.
Garsington Has Talent 2016
Our panel of judges found the task of choosing the top three from our 16 very different acts a difficult task but finally our winners were applauded for skipping (3rd); singing (2nd) and playing the cornet (1st). Well done to everyone who took part (and we even made the Oxford Mail!)
Winner! Fantastic cornet playing...
Second! Wonderful singing...
Third! Energetic skipping...
