Christmas celebrations

End of term Achievement Assembly

Pupils, staff and parents celebrated the end of Term 2 with a very festive achievement assembly. Everyone was dressed in their Christmas jumpers (to raise money for Save the Children)

and after a special prayer Ms d'Archambaud announced the pupils of the term.

Each class also awarded progress in maths, reading and writing and attitude to learning certificates. Well done to all those children who received an award and to all others who have worked hard this year. Attendance certificates were also given out today to recognise those pupils with over 96% attendance.

Farewell & good luck

Ms d'Archambaud then presented some farewell gifts and cards as the whole school sadly wished Mrs Rama a fond farewell (she is off to a new school and we wish her all the very best) and happily wished one of our teachers good luck as she is off on maternity leave! Will the baby be born on Christmas Eve?!

A special visitor

After assembly bells were heard and there were hoof steps on the roof! A very special visitor popped in to check everyone was being good and answered lots of excited questions about the logistics of sleighs, presents and chimneys!
