Sarah Brush

Sarah Brush, Foundation Governor - Co-Chair of Governing Body

Revd Dr Sarah Brush went to a CofE primary school in Buckinghamshire where she grew up and having lived in the Midlands for ten years she recently moved back for her current role as part of the academic staff at nearby Ripon College, Cuddesdon which trains people to be Anglican clergy. She teaches Pastoral Theology, Mission, Ministry and Theological Reflection. Sarah lives in the village of Cuddesdon with her husband Michael and their dogs Peggy and The Moog. Her favourite subjects at Primary school were History, Art and Reading.

I’ve been involved with schools as part of a previous role working for a Diocesan Education Department and been a governor at two CofE primary schools and a chaplain at a CofE High School. I became a governor at Garsington because I see great value in the education of the whole child which I think CofE schools encourage really well because of their Christian Ethos. I think a good primary education is vital to the whole community and I want to support and enable that.
